The silhouettes are made of black card stock on linen cream card stock. They are ready to frame measuring 8” x 10”. To add more personalization, the subjects name can be engraved on the cream card stock backing. 

Silhouettes look the best when

• You take a photo of the subject at 90 degrees, with their ear at your eye level so it does not distort their features
• The subject should look straight ahead, chin up, with a relaxed expression 
• Only one eye should be in the portrait, don’t capture beyond the bridge of the nose
• Make sure the entire head/hair/neck from chest up are captured in the photo 
• Longer hair is best captured in a ponytail or bun 

Silhouettes will be drawn directly from your photo, so ensure all the details in your picture - like hairstyle - are what you wish for in your timeless silhouettes.
